You have been prescribed Bronchoril 100mg Capsule for prevention and treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food. It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Your doctor may take regular blood test to monitor potassium level and the level of this medicine in your body. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
Using birth control pills may alter Bronchoril 100mg Capsule clearance from the body. This can increase medication levels and potentially increase the risk of side effects.
Bronchoril 100mg Capsule should only be taken as directed by your doctor. It's generally recommended to consume it with food, to minimize the risk of stomach upset.
Taking furosemide and Bronchoril 100mg Capsule simultaneously requires careful consideration. These medications might lead to a decrease in potassium levels, requiring regular monitoring of potassium levels.
Bronchoril 100mg Capsule should not be taken by individuals allergic to ambroxol, Bronchoril 100mg Capsule, or theophylline. Furthermore, those with pre-existing conditions such as low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, heart attack history, liver disease or kidney disease must avoid taking Bronchoril 100mg Capsule.
Bronchoril 100mg Capsule contains theophylline-7 acetate and ambroxol, both of which work to thin mucus and make breathing easier. The combination offers an added advantage over theophylline itself by reducing the need for other asthma medications like salbutamol.
