Borit SB 65mg Capsule is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections caused by Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Epidermophyton floccosum. These infections can include ringworm, infection of the feet or groin/buttocks, persistent nail and toenail infections, as well as candidiasis (yeast) infections of the vagina, mouth, or throat in patients with low disease resistance. It is also used to treat cryptococcal infection and infections caused by Histoplasma, Aspergillus, and Blastomyces.

For example, if you are treating athlete's foot (fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes), treatment may involve up to 30 days. However, for candidiasis (yeast) infections of the vagina, treatment duration can range from one day to three days depending on the dosage prescribed by your doctor.

Therefore, take antacids or any such medicine approximately two hours after taking Borit SB 65mg Capsule. If you are taking antacids (medicines that stop the production of stomach acid), take Borit SB 65mg Capsule capsules with a drink of cola.
Drug resistance can occur when fungi change in the body and become resistant to medication. This means the medicine no longer works effectively, known as drug resistance. Drug resistance to Borit SB 65mg Capsule has been reported with some candida species (krusei, glabrata, and tropicalis). Borit SB 65mg Capsule should not be used for infections caused by these species. Take the entire course of Borit SB 65mg Capsule to avoid developing drug resistance.
