Calcitriol (0.25mcg) + Calcium Carbonate (1250mg) + Vitamin K2-7 (45mcg)
Borcal-K 2 Softgel Capsule is a medicine used in the treatment of calcium deficiency, increasing vitamin D levels in the blood to raise calcium levels and treating osteoporosis.
Softgel Capsule
Borcal-K 2 Softgel Capsule is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, and Vitamin K2-7. It raises Vitamin D levels in your blood, which in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from your intestine. Calcium carbonate is a dietary supplement used when the amount of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Vitamin K2-7 plays a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth. Vitamin K2-7 activates the calcium-binding actions of two proteins: matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin, which help to build and maintain bone health.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Borcal-K 2 Softgel Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
No common side effects listed.
