Introduction

Bluclox P 125 mg/125 mg Tablet contains two active antibiotics that are effective against a multitude of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, nose, sinus, tonsils, throat, lungs, heart, skin, and bones. It can also effectively treat infections caused by resistant bacteria.

Directions for Use

Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Sudden withdrawal may cause the bacteria to multiply again

How it works

Bluclox P 125 mg/125 mg Tablet contains two active ingredients: Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Ampicillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. At the same time, cloxacillin works toward increasing the efficiency of this medicine and helps in treating the infections caused by resistant bacteria. Together, these two medicines not only kill the infection-causing bacteria but also arrest the spread of the infection.

Quick Tips

Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Sudden withdrawal may cause the bacteria to multiply again Make sure your child drinks plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Give Bluclox P 125 mg/125 mg Tablet to your child only for their current infection. Avoid storing the medicine for future use as it is impossible to judge whether the same medicine would work for any future illnesses. Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child’s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
