Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops is a nasal decongestant that helps in opening up the nasal passages by reducing excessive nasal secretions and also reducing the swelling in the blood vessels in the inner surface of the nose. This provides temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
Use one container of Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops only by one person. Do not share the same medicine with others. Encourage your child to inhale the steam as it may help relieve symptoms.

Do not use Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops in your child for more than 10 consecutive days as this may lead to complications such as "atrophic rhinitis". It is also essential to avoid abruptly discontinuing the medication, as this could cause "rebound congestion" in your child. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the prescribed dosage schedule.
An overdose of Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops can lead to severe dizziness, perspiration, a significantly lowered body temperature, headache, bradycardia (low heart rate), hypertension, respiratory depression, coma, and convulsions. There is also a possibility of high blood pressure followed by a fall in blood pressure. Moreover, children are more sensitive to toxicity than adults, so it's imperative that you reach out to your child’s doctor immediately if this occurs.
Before using Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops, instruct your child to clear the nose by gently blowing. Have your child lie down with their head slightly tilted back and look up. Tilt your child’s head as far back as comfortable or if on a bed, keep the head over the side. Open the cap of the medicine container and without touching the nozzle to the nose, apply the drops into each nostril. Ask your child to keep the head tilted back for a short time to allow the drops to spread throughout their nose. Replace the cap right after use. If the drop completely misses the nose, administer the drop again. If any part of the drop gets into the nose, do not administer the drop again. Repeat for the other nostril. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the cap right after use. To avoid potential infection spread, only use the bottle by one person.
Call your child's doctor immediately if your child experiences symptoms like insomnia, dizziness, tremor, irregular heartbeat, or elevated blood pressure after using Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops.
Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops may interact with other medications or substances. Inform your doctor about all other medications your child is taking before starting Bionozia J 0.05% Nasal Drops. It's best to check with your child’s doctor before administering any medicine to your child.
To aid drainage during a stuffy nose, place your child on their back with pillows for support. Avoid sleeping them on their side as this may worsen congestion in one or both nostrils.
