Biocool Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine, and Methylcellulose. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and inflammation (swelling). Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Methylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye.
Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor Close your eyes and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Avoid wearing contact lenses until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again
