Introduction

Bilamont Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose may vary depending on what you are taking it for. Take it as it has been prescribed by your doctor. You may need this medicine only on days you have symptoms, or as prescribed by your doctor. If you stop taking it earlier than advised, your symptoms may come back. This medicine is generally very safe. However, if you experience any symptoms on taking the medicine, you should let your doctor know. Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any problems with your liver or kidneys or with your heart to make sure it is safe for you. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor before taking it.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Bilamont Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Bilamont Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Bilastine and Montelukast. Bilastine is an anti-allergic medication that treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.

You have been prescribed Bilamont Tablet for the treatment of allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. Stop taking Bilamont Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
