Astemizole Azelastine Buclizine Cetirizine
Bezy 16mg Tablet is a histamine analog. It works by improving the blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid there. Excess fluid can send signals to the brain causing nausea, dizziness or spinning sensations (symptoms of Ménière's disease). Bezy 16mg Tablet additionally dampens down the nerve signals sent from the inner ear to the brain relieving the symptoms of Ménière's disease.

Meniere's disease is a disorder affecting the balance and hearing organs in the inner ear. Symptoms include vertigo, fluctuating hearing, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and pressure within the ears. This can also lead to dizziness which can cause nausea and vomiting. While there is no cure for Meniere's disease, treatment aims to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. It's important to discuss this with a healthcare professional to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Bezy 16mg Tablet is effective when used as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition, as doing so may lead to a recurrence or worsening of symptoms.
Triggers for Meniere's disease can include stress, overwork, fatigue, emotional distress, other illnesses, and changes in air pressure. Certain foods, such as dairy products, caffeine, alcohol, and foods high in sodium, may also trigger symptoms. A low-salt diet (2 grams/day) may help manage vertigo related to Meniere's disease.
If you miss a dose of Bezy 16mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and follow the prescribed schedule.
While not a direct cause of vertigo, mental stress can exacerbate symptoms. It may worsen certain forms of vertigo but won't cause it on its own.
Vertigo can result from sudden drops in blood pressure or dehydration. Rapidly changing positions (e.g., lying down to standing up) can also lead to feeling lightheaded. Motion sickness, specific medications, and issues with your inner ear (such as Meniere's disease or acoustic neuroma) are other common causes of vertigo. Additionally, it's important to note that vertigo can sometimes signal other health conditions like multiple sclerosis or head trauma.
