Several factors can trigger or exacerbate Meniere's disease: stress, overwork, fatigue, emotional distress, additional health conditions, and changes in air pressure (e.g., altitude). Stress can contribute to or worsen vertigo symptoms in some people. It is important to note that while stress might play a role, it does not directly cause vertigo on its own. However, it is worth discussing your symptoms with a healthcare professional.
Vertigo can result from various factors: abrupt drops in blood pressure or dehydration. Rapid changes in posture like getting up too quickly from sitting or lying down can trigger lightheadedness. Other potential causes include motion sickness, certain medications, and inner ear issues such as Meniere's disease or acoustic neuroma.
