Introduction

Besoft Plus is a combination of Methylcobalamin, Alpha-lipoic acid, and Vitamins. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12, one of the two active coenzymes used by B-12 dependent enzymes in the body. It is notable for being one of the few examples in nature of an organometallic bond. Methylcobalamin is used in treating diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency, such as pernicious anemia, or diseases of effective B12 deficiency, such as vitamin B12 metabolic pathway. Methylcobalamin is retained in the body better than cyanocobalamin. Alpha-lipoic acid, also known as ALA, is a naturally occurring compound that serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. It helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body, restores vitamin levels, and breaks down carbohydrates to make energy for the other organs in the body. Alpha-lipoic acid also works as an antioxidant, providing protection to the brain under conditions of damage or injury, and is helpful in certain liver diseases.
