Introduction

You can take Benidin T Tablet at any time of day with food but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Keeping active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor's advice while taking this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Benidin T Tablet is to be taken with food.

Side Effects

It may cause side effects like ankle swelling, headache, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), tiredness, palpitations, upset stomach, and increased potassium level in blood.

Alcohol Warning

Avoid consuming alcohol as it may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of this medicine.

Breastfeeding Warning

Do not take Benidin T Tablet if you are breastfeeding.

Pregnancy Warning

Do not take Benidin T Tablet if you are pregnant or planning to conceive.

Benidin T Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Benidipine and Telmisartan which lowers blood pressure effectively. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Benidin T Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of this medicine. It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away. Do not take Benidin T Tablet if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
