Bengel AC 2.5% Gel is an anti-bacterial medicine that helps treat acne. It works by killing acne-causing bacteria.
Gel
Bengel AC 2.5% Gel may be used alone or with other acne treatments. You should use it as advised by your doctor. Follow the instructions provided in the product leaflet to get the most out of this medicine. Wash and dry the affected area before medicine application. It is usually used once or twice a day. Do not apply it to damaged or broken skin and avoid contact with your mouth, eyes, and nose. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, keep using it as advised. Consult your doctor after a month of regular use of this medicine if your condition is not improving.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
Bengel AC 2.5% Gel is an organic compound. It has a keratolytic property i.e. it even out the uneven skin. When applied on acne, it releases oxygen which kills the bacteria. This is how it works to cure your acne.
You have been prescribed Bengel AC 2.5% Gel for the treatment of Acne. Do not apply it on sunburned or damaged skin. Be careful when applying Bengel AC 2.5% Gel to large areas since it can bleach hair, clothing, and furnishings upon contact. It makes the skin more sensitive towards sunlight. Hence apply it at night time and avoid excessive sun exposure. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. It may cause skin dryness or stinging sensation. In case you experience excessive irritation or allergy discontinue the medication and consult your doctor. It may bleach hair and fabrics including clothes so be careful to avoid contact with these.
Before application, remove all makeup and wash the affected area with soap and water to dry. Apply a thin layer of Bengel AC 2.5% Gel cream to the affected skin using your fingertips. Ensure that the entire affected area is covered with the gel. After applying, thoroughly wash your hands with water.
At the beginning of treatment, Bengel AC 2.5% Gel is typically applied once daily in the evening. The gel does not need to be washed off after application. However, if you experience irritation, consult your doctor. However, if you experience irritation, consult your doctor.
Discontinue use and consult your doctor if you experience severe local irritation, which includes significant redness, dryness and itching or stinging/burning sensations.
Use Bengel AC 2.5% Gel only on your skin. Keep it away from your eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, and the inside of your nose. If contact occurs, rinse the affected area with water immediately. Avoid using Bengel AC 2.5% Gel on scratched or eroded skin or open wounds. When using Bengel AC 2.5% Gel on sensitive areas such as your neck, use caution.
The initial dose is best applied once daily in the evening. Your doctor may later increase the dose to twice daily (most likely morning and evening).
You may see an improvement after 4-6 weeks of treatment. However, it may be necessary to use this treatment for longer to see the full benefits. This is normal for acne treatments.
You can apply moisturizer one hour after applying Bengel AC 2.5% Gel. Consult your doctor if you have any doubts or concerns.
