How should Bam 500mcg Injection be given?
Bam 500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is one ampoule containing 0.5 mg of Bam 500mcg Injection, and it is given three times weekly. After two months, the dosage is adjusted to once every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Bam 500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting at the same site each time. If you experience intense pain during injection or if blood returns into the syringe, remove the needle and inject at a different location.
