Introduction

Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that is given to children to effectively treat a wide range of bacterial infections that may occur in the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal infections, urinary and genital tract.

Give Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension to your child as directed by the doctor. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.

Side Effects

Diarrhea Altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension on tongue) Dizziness and sleepiness

Alcohol Warning

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness.

Breastfeeding Warning

Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding.

Pregnancy Warning

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive.

Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension is an antibiotic consisting of ofloxacin and ornidazole as its active ingredients. Both these ingredients tamper the bacteria's DNA. Thus, it kills the infection-causing bacteria, stopping the infection and the bacteria from growing further without making them resistant to further treatment.

Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case of diarrhea Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help if your child has an altered taste or furry tongue Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension Quit giving Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension and speak to the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing Only give Bactorax OZ Oral Suspension to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses
