Bactoclav 375 Tablet is an antibiotic that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold.

How to Use:

How it Works:
Bactoclav 375 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.

  • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Bactoclav 375 Tablet may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps.
  • Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Bactoclav 375 Tablet.
  • Stop taking Bactoclav 375 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
  • Do not use leftover medicine for treating any infection in the future. Always consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic.
  • Stick to simple meals, avoid rich or spicy food and drink plenty of water while taking Bactoclav 375 Tablet.

Alcohol Warning:
Consuming alcohol with Bactoclav 375 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Bactoclav 375 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breastfeeding Warning:
