Introduction

Bactinice Capsule is a combination medicine used to treat bacterial infections of the vagina. It promotes the growth of good bacteria, helps in the maintenance and restoration of healthy vaginal flora, and protects against genitourinary infections. It may be taken with or without food, and it is essential to follow the prescribed dose and duration to get the most benefit from it.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Bactinice Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Bactinice Capsule is a combination of a prebiotic and some probiotics. Fructooligosaccharide (prebiotic) promotes the growth of lactobacilli. The four Lactobacillus species (Lactobacillus crispatus, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus jensenii, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus) colonize the vaginal tract and help maintain as well as restore the composition of the normal healthy vaginal flora. These lactobacilli form a protective barrier that maintains the integrity of the vaginal tract and prevents the attachment of pathogenic bacteria and other harmful substances, thereby protecting the vagina against bacterial infections.

Along with Bactinice Capsule, maintain personal hygiene and drink an adequate amount of water to get relief from pain and burning sensation during a urinary tract infection. Stick to simple meals and avoid rich or spicy food while taking Bactinice Capsule. Drink plenty of fluids to help keep you hydrated. Take it at least 2 hours after taking other medicines as it may interfere with their absorption. Consult your doctor if your symptoms last for more than 48 hours.
