Introduction

BaciFoe Ointment is meant for external use only. It should be applied only to the affected area of the skin as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. In order to get the most benefit, apply it regularly and preferably at the same time each day. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. This will only increase the risk of side effects. Do not use it for more than 10 days. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the medicine in these areas. Local side effects like minor burning or irritation may be seen after application. Consult your doctor if these persist or if your condition does not improve within 3-5 days. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any previous history of allergy with it or any other medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using it.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

BaciFoe Ointment is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria that cause skin infections by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for survival of bacteria. Thus, it prevents the skin infection from spreading.

BaciFoe Ointment is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the medicine at least 3 times a day. A dressing can be applied over the treated area if needed. Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas. It can cause slight irritation at the application site. Let your doctor know if the irritation does not go away. Do not use for more than 10 days. Throw away any cream that is left over. If your skin condition does not improve within 3 to 5 days, see your doctor.
