Azuvas-F 20 Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azuvas-F 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Azuvas-F 20 Tablet is a combination of two medicines that provides better control over high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It decreases the risk of heart diseases and helps prevent strokes and heart attacks. It should be taken in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet to lower levels of fat in the blood. Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness) particularly if accompanied with fever. Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine. Do not discontinue Azuvas-F 20 Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).
Azuvas-F 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. While rare (1 in 10,000 patients), liver damage can occur as a side effect. Patients with pre-existing liver conditions should avoid using this medicine. If you experience signs of liver damage such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes, contact your doctor immediately.
Muscle pain can occur due to muscle injury while taking Azuvas-F 20 Tablet. However, this side effect is not experienced by everyone. If you experience symptoms like muscle pain or weakness, consult your doctor immediately.
Lifestyle adjustments can improve your overall health when using Azuvas-F 20 Tablet. Quit smoking to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. If overweight or obese, aim to lose weight. Maintain a healthy diet by including fruits and vegetables in your meals. Regular exercise strengthens your heart and lowers the risk of heart attack.
