Azsita D 10mg/50mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in proper utilization of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level. Azsita D 10mg/50mg Tablet can be taken with or without food at any time of day but try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor and don’t stop taking it without consulting them. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azsita D 10mg/50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works
Azsita D 10mg/50mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Sitagliptin reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose level).

Practice good hygiene to prevent genital fungal and/or urinary tract infections. Carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms. Monitor your blood sugar regularly while taking this medicine. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated to prevent dehydration. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience constant dizziness, joint pain, cold-like symptoms or unexplained nausea/vomiting.
