Introduction

Azatend O 200mg Tablet is an anticancer medication used to treat adult patients with all subtypes of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). It works by interfering with the growth of genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells, thereby killing them and aiding in the normal maturation and growth of young blood cells in the bone marrow. The most common side effects include vomiting, weakness, nausea, and fever. Regular blood tests are required to monitor blood cells, heart, liver, and kidney function. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Azatend O 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
