Axepta 10 Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (a behavioral disorder in children marked by poor concentration, hyperactivity, and learning difficulties).
Tablet
Axepta 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Axepta 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, increased heart rate, and high blood pressure.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Axepta 10 Tablet.
Axepta 10 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Axepta 10 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Axepta 10 Tablet modulates the activity of certain chemical messengers in the brain which increases attention and decreases restlessness. It is a non-stimulant medicine.
Take Axepta 10 Tablet at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. Your doctor will monitor your heart rate and blood pressure regularly while taking the medicine. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires concentration until you know how it affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience unusual changes in mood or behavior or suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking medicine without talking to your doctor first.
