Avitra Plus Gel is a combination of five medicines: Tramadol, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, Linseed Oil, and Menthol. Tramadol is an opoid analgesic (pain reliever) that works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil that further reduces swelling and improves blood circulation. Additionally, it increases the penetration of Diclofenac through the skin. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the skin.
