Aviclar 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various infections, including those of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin. It is also effective against H. pylori bacteria associated with peptic ulcer disease.

Aviclar 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic effective against various infections, including those caused by Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) in people with reduced immunity. It works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria, thereby stopping their growth and preventing the infection from spreading. This medicine should be taken orally, preferably one hour before or two hours after a meal, and should not be taken with antacids within two hours. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abnormal taste, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Aviclar 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid tyramine-rich foods such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.

Your doctor has prescribed Aviclar 250mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Aviclar 250mg Tablet. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Stop taking Aviclar 250mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat, or tongue, or breathing difficulties while taking it.
