Augmentox Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat bacterial infections. It is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Cloxacillin, and Lactobacillus. It fights against microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. It is advised to take it as per the prescription and can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy.

You have been prescribed this combination of medicine to treat bacterial infections. Finish the prescribed course even if you start to feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Augmentox Capsule may help. Stop taking medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking medication as it may cause increased side effects.
