It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby alleviating symptoms like heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation. The medication combines two active ingredients: Domperidone, which enhances the movement of the stomach and intestines, and Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that decreases stomach acid production. Athzol-DM Capsule is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to pass more easily. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid, relieving acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take Athzol-DM Capsule one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Athzol-DM Capsule for 14 days. Long-term use can cause weak bones and mineral deficiencies; ensure adequate intake of calcium and magnesium. Incorporate lifestyle changes: eat regular meals, drink water, avoid spicy and fatty foods, lose weight if obese, quit smoking, limit alcohol, and avoid lying down immediately after meals.
