Asklerol 3% Injection is a prescription medicine used to treat varicose veins by damaging the layer of blood vessels, leading to platelet aggregation and occlusion of the vessel.
Injection
Asklerol 3% Injection is given by your doctor or nurse. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
Pain or discomfort in extremity Injection site swelling or pain Superficial thrombophlebitis
This medicine should not be used in pregnant women.
Asklerol 3% Injection is used for the treatment of varicose veins Wear a compression bandage or stocking soon after the injection Compression stockings should be thigh or knee-high depending upon the area treated Walk for at least 10 minutes post-therapy along with wearing the compression bandage with the help of a caregiver Avoid heavy or strenuous exercise for 2-3 days post-therapy
