Introduction

Asfer Red 20mg/ml Injection is given by slow infusion (drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse. Your doctor will decide the dose you need and how many injections you should have to improve your anemia. It will also help to eat a well-balanced diet that has enough iron. Good sources of iron include pulses (dal), green leafy vegetables like spinach, beans, eggs, dry fruits, and non-vegetarian foods.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Asfer Red 20mg/ml Injection.

Breastfeeding Warning

Asfer Red 20mg/ml Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
