Introduction

Apresol Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as vasodilators and is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It may also be used in combination with other medicines in the treatment of heart failure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Apresol Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Apresol Tablet works by relaxing blood vessels which lowers blood pressure and allows more blood and oxygen to reach the heart and other organs.

Monitor your weight regularly and inform your doctor if you gain weight as this could indicate that your body is retaining too much fluid. Do not stop taking Apresol Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor.
