Introduction

Aprebion Kit is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Aprebion Kit may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Aprebion Kit is a combination of two different doses of Aprepitant. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during treatment with anti-cancer medicines.

Aprebion Kit is taken alongside other medicines to help stop sickness (nausea and vomiting) after chemotherapy. Even if you do not feel like eating or drinking, try to sip water regularly to prevent dehydration. If you are taking any contraceptive 'pill' at the same time as this medicine, the effectiveness of the 'pill' can be reduced if you have a bout of being sick (vomiting) which lasts for more than 24 hours. In such a case, ask your doctor for additional contraceptive precautions. If you are taking any other medicines, let your doctor know as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. Try to keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends, as stopping treatment too early may cause your symptoms to come back and your condition to worsen.
