Apogest 500mg Injection is administered only by or under the supervision of a doctor. It should be taken as your doctor advises. Your doctor will decide how much you need to take and for how much time. You should take this injection for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
Apogest 500mg Injection is a progestin (female hormone).
It is only given to a woman who has had a preterm delivery in the past. It is not for use in women who are pregnant with more than one baby (twins, triplets, etc.). It may affect blood sugar levels. Monitor your blood sugar regularly. Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain. Inform your doctor immediately if you have pain in the chest, groin, or legs, difficulty with breathing, sudden severe headache, slurred speech, sudden unexplained shortness of breath, a sudden loss of coordination, or vision changes while using this medicine.

This medication is not recommended for individuals with the following conditions: <br>-History of blood clots or other clotting disorders <br>-Uncontrolled high blood pressure <br>-Liver problems, including liver tumors <br>-Breast cancer or hormone-sensitive cancers (current or past) <br>-Unusual vaginal bleeding unrelated to pregnancy <br>-Jaundice (yellowing of the skin) due to liver problems during pregnancy.
