Anfresh 0.5% Eye Drop is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
Your doctor has prescribed Anfresh 0.5% Eye Drop to treat dry eye disease. It stabilizes the natural tear film and maintains necessary lubrication so your eyes don’t get dry and irritated. May require long-term use. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of this medicine.
Anfresh 0.5% Eye Drop is a tear substitute intended for the lubrication of dry eyes. It can also provide temporary relief from burning, irritation, or discomfort associated with dryness in the eye. Additionally, it acts as a lubricant to re-wet soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses.
Possible side effects include temporary visual disturbances, eye discharge, and potential medication residue on the eye's surface. Other possible reactions may involve redness, irritation, burning or discomfort in the eyes; eyelid swelling; and itching in the eye. Contact your healthcare provider if any of these effects persist.
Store Anfresh 0.5% Eye Drop at or below room temperature, out of reach of children. Ensure the container's tip does not touch any surface and replace the cap after each use. Do not use the drops after their expiry date or after 30 days of opening.
For dry eyes, apply 1-2 drops to the affected eye(s) as needed. For lubricating soft and rigid gas-permeable contact lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops per eye while wearing the lens. Blink several times after administering the drops.
