How it works
Amoxyjet-LB Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. This treats your infection but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Amoxyjet-LB Tablet may be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the prescribed dose by your doctor. Can I stop Amoxyjet-LB Tablet in between if I feel better?
No, complete the full course of medication even if you feel better. It is common to feel better early in the treatment course. Can I take Amoxyjet-LB Tablet if I am allergic to penicillin?
While ampicillin and some cephalosporins might be more likely to cause an allergic reaction in individuals who have had a prior reaction to penicillin, not all penicillin derivatives pose the same risk.
