Introduction

Amnuring P Tablet SR is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. It works by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain. This helps in regulating the mood and stopping the movement of pain signals from nerves to brain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amnuring P Tablet SR may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Amnuring P Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Amitriptyline and Pregabalin. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves). Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Used to treat certain types of long-lasting pain caused by damage to nerves. May ease the pain within a few days but it may take 2-3 weeks before you see maximum benefit. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other pain-relieving medicines. Along with taking this medicine, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain. May cause dry mouth. Frequent sips of water may help ease the discomfort.
