Amirid Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of diarrhea, killing diarrhea-causing bacteria and managing symptoms such as stomach pain, cramps, and loose stools.

Amirid Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amirid Tablet is to be taken with food.

Consuming alcohol while taking Amirid Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Amirid Tablet is a combination of three medicines:
You have been prescribed Amirid Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea. Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated. Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours. Do not use Amirid Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
Take Amirid Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed dose.
No, do not stop taking Amirid Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
If you do not experience improvement after completing the full course of Amirid Tablet, inform your doctor. Additionally, inform them if your symptoms are worsening while taking this medication.
