Amifru-S Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. It works by reducing the excess fluid levels in the body while maintaining the potassium balance. It is used to treat congestive heart failure, nephrotic syndrome, ascites associated with liver cirrhosis, and mild and moderate degrees of essential hypertension.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amifru-S Tablet is to be taken with food. Avoid Amifru-S Tablet with dietary sodium.
Amifru-S Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also reduces blood pressure and enables heart to pump efficiently. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium thereby balancing its levels in the body.
Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you It may cause excessive urine production, dehydration, and low electrolyte levels. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that doesn't go away
