Ambrodil Drop is a mucolytic medication that helps to thin and loosen mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also relieves the pain and irritation due to sore and dry throat by rendering a soothing effect. It is used to treat wet cough (cough with mucus) associated with an acute sore throat and asthma in children.
Give the medicine with food to avoid stomach upset in your child. Do not give this medicine to your child for a long term without consulting your child’s doctor. Never combine Ambrodil Drop with other cold and flu medicines as that may increase the chances of side effects.
