Ambro S Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs making it easier to cough out. It also relaxes the muscles in your airway.

Ambro S Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ambro S Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Ambro S Tablet may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking Ambro S Tablet and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.
Ambro S Tablet is a combination of Ambroxol and Salbutamol / Albuterol which relieves cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator that widens the airways by relaxing its muscles. Together, they make breathing easier.
Ambro S Tablet is generally safe for most patients when used as directed. However, some people may experience side effects such as tremor, headache, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), palpitations, dizziness, nervousness, muscle cramps, or increased heart rate. If you experience any of these problems, please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, you may experience headache and shakiness while using Ambro S Tablet. Ambroxol and salbutamol in combination can cause these side effects. Headache may be caused by Salbutamol and can be relieved by drinking plenty of water, getting sufficient rest, and avoiding alcohol. It's usually better within a week. If headaches persist for a long time, please contact your doctor. Shaking is a common side effect of Ambro S Tablet and will subside over time.
Store this medicine in its original container or package until use. Ensure the container is tightly closed. Follow the storage instructions on the packaging or label, and dispose of any unused medication properly. Do not give the medication to pets, children, or other people.
