Amblin LS Oral Drops is a combination medication containing Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It's used to treat cough with mucus. Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic, thinning and loosening the phlegm (mucus) for easier expectoration. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to widen them. Guaifenesin functions as an expectorant, decreasing the stickiness of mucus and facilitating its removal from airways.
Amblin LS Oral Drops is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate. Seek medical attention if you experience persistent problems during treatment.
Avoid using Amblin LS Oral Drops in patients with known allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients. Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers such as propranolol should not be combined.
