Amantex Tablet is used to treat Parkinson's disease and drug-induced movement disorder. It can also be used to prevent and treat influenza infection. The antiviral property of the medicine works against the viruses to prevent their growth and multiplication. Amantex Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Amantex Tablet.

Amantex Tablet is a dopamine agonist that treats Parkinson's disease. It works by increasing the amount of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain which regulates body movements. It also has an antiviral property. It works against viruses to prevent their growth and multiplication. It also appears to restrict the viruses to release infectious chemicals (viral nucleic acid) to enter into the body. Thus, it prevents and treats influenza infection.

It can be taken with or without food. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. Inform your doctor if you notice an urge to gamble, increased sexual urges, binge eating, or uncontrolled spending.
