Chloramphenicol Orlistat
Alzec 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
Alzec 1500mcg Injection contains Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 plays a vital role in the production of red blood cells and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also helps release energy from food and facilitates proper utilization of vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Vitamin B12 is found naturally in some animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. However, vegetarians or vegans might not obtain enough vitamin B12 from their diets because it is not present in plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, vitamin B12 deficiency is commonly observed in those following these diets.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to tiredness and weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal increase in red blood cells). It may also cause nerve problems like numbness or tingling in the hands and feet. Other possible symptoms include balance issues, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and mouth or tongue soreness.
Alzec 1500mcg Injection is generally well tolerated and considered safe. However, some individuals may experience rare side effects like nausea, diarrhea, or anorexia. If a rash appears while taking the medication, discontinue its use immediately.
Alzec 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is one ampoule (containing 0.5 mg of Alzec 1500mcg Injection), and it is given three times weekly. After two months, individuals are recommended to receive one ampoule every one to three months for maintenance therapy.
Do not administer the injections at the same site each time. If experiencing intense pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
