It helps prevent and treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD) by relaxing the muscles of the air passages and making it easier to breathe. It is also used to treat bronchitis. It is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out, and a leukotriene antagonist that reduces inflammation in the airways and nose to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
Directions for Use
