Alkasung Syrup can be taken with or without food to prevent stomach upset. It should be taken regularly and not stopped until the doctor advises to stop. The most common side effect is stomach pain, which may also cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, frequent urge to urinate, and tiredness. If these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, the doctor should be informed. The medicine should be taken as suggested by the doctor to get the most benefits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Alkasung Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alkasung Syrup is a urine alkalizer. It works by increasing the pH of urine which makes it less acidic. This helps the kidneys get rid of excess uric acid thereby preventing gout and certain types of kidney stones.
