Introduction

Algiduo Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Children below 12 years of age should take only if the doctor advises it. Continue taking the medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. However, do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Algiduo Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Algiduo Oral Suspension is a combination of three medications: Calcium carbonate, sodium alginate, and sodium bicarbonate. Calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate react with stomach acid, releasing bubbles of carbon dioxide. These bubbles allow the gel to form a strong protective barrier on top of the stomach contents, thereby preventing stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus.

Avoid soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks unless it is advised by the doctor.
