Alervas DX Syrup is a combination of Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, used to treat dry cough. It works by reducing the activity of the brain's cough center and blocking the effects of histamine. This medication can provide temporary relief from throat irritation, sneezing, and a runny nose. While it is effective, it may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so caution is advised when driving or performing tasks that require concentration. It is important to consult a doctor if the cough persists for more than 7 days, recurs, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or headache.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Alervas DX Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
