Introduction

Alcotrust Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time to avoid missing a dose. This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, you should consult your doctor without delay. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to take alcohol after taking this medicine.

Interacting Medicines

Orlistat

Alcotrust Tablet is a combination of vitamin B1, B2, and B6. Thiamine (vitamin B1) is required by the body to properly use carbohydrates. It also helps maintain proper nerve function. Vitamin B2 works with the other B vitamins. It is vital for body growth. It aids in red blood cell production. It also helps in the release of energy from proteins. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) treats or prevents deficiency of vitamin B6 and improves functioning of nervous and immune systems.

Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Alcotrust Tablet as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders. Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine. Along with taking Alcotrust Tablet, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
