Alcinac MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines used in the treatment of muscular pain, working by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation, and relaxing muscles to provide relief from stiffness or spasm.

Introduction

Alcinac MR Tablet should be taken with food to prevent upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects include vomiting, nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and weakness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alcinac MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Alcinac MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Aceclofenac, and Tizanidine. Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer) and Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause fever and pain respectively. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Alcinac MR Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Alcinac MR Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
