Alastin AM Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Alastin AM Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause increased sleepiness. Stop taking Alastin AM Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results. Inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 14 days.
