Short Description

Aflocin - R Oral Suspension is an antibiotic used to treat acute diarrhea caused by bacterial infections in children.

Oral Suspension

Introduction

Aflocin - R Oral Suspension is usually given to children to treat acute diarrhea caused due to bacterial infections. It helps relieve the symptoms, severity, and duration of illness by killing the diarrhea-causing microorganism and reducing the loss of water and electrolytes.

Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection.

Quick Tips

Loose, watery diarrhea can lead to loss of fluids and essential salts from your child's body. Make sure to replenish this in the form of ORS (Oral rehydration solution) to combat dehydration. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Aflocin - R Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
