Introduction

Aerotrop-F Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Tiotropium. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening the airways, making breathing easier. Your doctor will tell you how often you need to use your inhaler. The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days but will only reach its maximum after a few weeks. This medicine must be used regularly to be effective, so go on taking it even if you don't have any symptoms. That means it's doing its job. If you stop taking it, your COPD may get worse.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

You have been prescribed Aerotrop-F Capsule for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). If at any time your breathing gets worse, please contact your doctor or nurse for advice straightaway. Do not smoke. Smoking causes irritation and damage to the lungs and will make your condition worse. If you have diabetes you may need to check your blood glucose more frequently as Aerotrop-F Capsule can affect the levels of sugar in your blood. Your doctor will advise you about this. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. If you are overweight, it is advisable to lose weight. This is because being overweight means that you have to work much harder to breathe in to inflate your lungs.
