Frequently asked questions

What is Adoc MR Tablet?

Adoc MR Tablet contains three medications: diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. It helps relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone acts on the central nervous system as a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac and paracetamol work by reducing chemical substances (prostaglandins) in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Is Adoc MR Tablet safe to use?

Adoc MR Tablet is generally safe for most patients, but may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, sleepiness. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience persistent problems from the medication.

Can I stop taking Adoc MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?

You should continue Adoc MR Tablet as prescribed by your doctor unless it's for short-term pain relief. If your doctor advises, they can help you determine when to discontinue use.

Can the use of Adoc MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?

Yes, some patients may experience nausea while taking Adoc MR Tablet. You can take it with milk or food, or with antacids. Avoid fatty or fried foods alongside this medication.
